All you plus size protestors out there may have more trouble than your skinny counterparts finding Occupy Attire. After visiting several websites that sell Occupy Wallstreet t-shirts I found that none of them — not one — cater to plus size people! Take one of the more popular sites http://www.occupyshirts.org/ . In who’s world is a 26 by 32 Tshirt an XXL?

You can see for yourself by clicking this link .
How about being a little more inclusive in your movement Occupy? Especially considering half of the population is overweight! Plus size people want to be involved too! Stop making it so hard for us!

If you’ve read my blog before you know I’m not against the plus size short, if it’s done right, however, in my personal opinion it’s a whole lot easier to find a flattering plus size skirt and that’s what this blog post is all about — the women’s plus-size skirt!
Skirts are fun, flirty and great for plus size fashion because they alloy you to breathe and keep cool but come in great patterns that allow you to express your own personal style. This first skirt is by Lane Bryant and is a great plus size skirt for summer. This woment’s plussize skirt has got an elastic wasteband for comfort, and while they show it here with a tucked in shirt, we all know no one wants to show off their elastic waste ban, even though they are tray comfortable! So just use your imagination and picture this plus size skirt with a cute tank top, untucked, or it would even go great with a button down– dark or light! At just 49.95 this skirt is great for sizes 14-24.

This skirt also features an elastic waste, which unfortunately is also pictured with a tucked in shirt — which is unflattering, however, the detail on this skirt is simply too cute! The fabric on this one is a bit more structured but still breathes very
nicely because of the cotton base. This plus size skirt is also good for sizes 14-24 and available by clicking the pic. It’s a bit more expensive at $54.95, however, you’ll be able to wear this skirt season after season!
Singer, songwriter Adele is not only topping the charts as a Grammy Award Winning Artist for the past few years but is also inspiring plus-size women all over the world, proving yet again that being a curvy woman does not prevent beauty or success. In fact, Adele has quickly become a plus size fashion icon whether she likes it or not!
Adele Plus Size Fashion Icon
Even though Adele has posed for countless magazine articles and even did a spread in Vogue in 2009 she has famously been quoted as saying “I hate fashion,” on more than one occasion. Yet regardless of this young star’s lack of interest in the “fashion scene” she has definately made an impact on plus size women throughout the blogosphere and the world.
In this post I’d like to recognize Adele as a Plus Size Fashion Icon and post a few of my favorite pics of her! You go girl!
Do you have any favorite pics of Adele? Post a comment and share!
Who could forget this awesome red carpet ensemble!
Look at those EYES!
In an attempt to save money, I sometimes dye my own hair, as I’m sure many of my CurvyHip readers do. I normally use Revlon to color my hair, however, I got sucked in by the advertising on this Foaming Hair Color by John Frieda. The official name is Precision Foam Coloue. I wanted to do a product reveiw on it because I’d like to help anyone save their $13 and just stick with what you know works!
First of all, I can see where all the extra costs come from, the instructions are full color and the gloves are actually sleek and black and come in a separate baggie, not glue on to the instructions
For all that added expense the bottom line is that the product doesn’t work. I followed the instructions to the letter! I only tilted, didn’t shake; I only squeezed didn’t pump. Still the dang thing never foamed for me! Not once. The lady in the picture sure worked up a lather but not this girl. I was really ticked but figured oh well, at least it should work, even if it doens’t foam. Nope. Left it on for the full 30 minutes and my roots are still here! Bottom line, don’t waste your money on this product.
